About the Competition
In today’s rapidly advancing technological world, ensuring environmental safety and efficient monitoring has become essential. This technical competition challenges students to design and develop an IoT-based smart system that monitors environmental parameters and detects potential hazards in real time.
This competition encourages innovation, hands-on learning, and real-world problem-solving skills while promoting the development of smart, safe, and connected environments.
Eligibility & Team Details
- Eligibility: B.Tech Students
- Team Size: 2–4 members
- Domain: IoT, Embedded Systems, Smart Automation
Design and Development Platform
Microcontrollers:
- Raspberry Pi
- Arduino Uno
- NodeMCU
Sensors and Modules:
- Ultrasonic Sensor
- IR Sensor
- Gas Sensor
- Light Sensor (LDR)
- Flame Sensor
- 16×2 LCD Display
Additional components may be used if relevant and properly justified (to be brought by participants).
Expected Outcome
- Working model
- Multi-sensor integration
- Real-time monitoring and safety alerts
Presentation & Demonstration
Participants must present their project idea and demonstrate a working prototype or functional model to the evaluation panel.
